If Approved Here’s How Much Slavery Reparations Will Cost

There is nobody alive that owes anybody anything from this time in our history, Not to mention the fact that more than half of our American citizens African-American are stating we don’t need this stuff you (Dems) are sending us back to the 1800s!

The very idea of retribution is ridiculous you want to retribution then go back to your own people who sold you originally oh and good luck with that.

But still, some of the Dems might support some forms of reparations for slavery!

A new bill would calculate potential costs of reparations — and by Yahoo Finance estimates, these could reach as high as $17.1 trillion.

Last week, the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties held the first hearing in a decade on H.R. 40, the Commission to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African-Americans Act. The bill was first introduced in 1989 by former Congressman John Conyers (D-MI). Conyers reintroduced the bill each year until his retirement in 2017 — and each year, the bill languished in Congress.

The bill’s focus was not to pass reparations, but to research the impact slavery had on black Americans and develop proposals for redress.

Presidential candidates Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ), Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Beto O’Rourke and Julian Castro supporting some form of reparations. But while the Democratic-controlled House is willing to hear the bill, it seems likely that a bill on reparations will die in the Senate where Republicans have a majority. When asked about the hearing, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said he opposed the measure, given that “not one of us currently living are responsible” for slavery.

There are approximately 30 million slaves in the world TODAY. If Democrats truly cared about human dignity, they would be calling attention to this current atrocity instead of trying to collect political points for something that ended in the US in 1865.

No one living today was a slave then.
No one living today was a plantation owner, nor ‘Master’.
Some Afro-Americans need to quit acting like they are still slaves.
I think Kanye said it best: get off the plantation!

It is the only way we can work around their censorship and ensure people receive news about issues that Democrats and the mainstream media suppress.

A lot of them have had Gov. housing ,food stamps and much more for many years. I don’t at all think what were done to the was right. Are the white hat died to free them families going to receive the same? Was I here at that time to make a choice about slavery and you want me to pay for something I had nothing to do with. You dems have gone nuts and are trying anything for votes . It’s the only chance you have to win. Power over whats best for our country. You all need removed from office.

If you are black, and demanding “reparations”, where would you be today, if your ancestors had not been captured and sold into slavery by their fellow Africans?
